ACM Model Curriculum Examinations
Computer Science 2013, Information Systems 2010 and 2002, Information Technology 2008
Norm-referenced testing & reporting at low cost to improve national academic standards
ICCP has been working with representatives from the State of Indiana to deliver a Beta Exam for Computing Science 2 year college programs, to provide the same reporting outcomes shown below.
At the same time ICCP is working with other community colleges to specify the subjects for two year programs in Information Systems across the country.
Nationally Normed - Objective Examinations
If you had an external professional body in the USA providing you nationally-normed examinations with drill down to the item level (student learning outcomes) and roll up to course (program outcomes) based on a national ACM Model Curriculum, would you find that useful?
If you had confidential reports on how your students ranked nationally in their scores and how well they ranked inside the school would that help and cut down work for your faculty and save you faculty teaching and research hours?
Reporting and Time Saving
If you could instantly get reports on student performances, and reports twice a year on nationally-normed criteria would that support you paying $50 per student with a maximum of $2500 per year for up to 100 students. Schools over 100 students pay $20 for each student over 100." (Schools over 200 students pay $15 for each student over 200) for that information?
Do you or your Dean have that much discretionary spending in your budget?
Let ICCP help you save your professor's and administrator's time and avoid missing teaching, research and publications deadlines for less than the cost of one data projector to give you rich longitudinal data on your programs and curriculum quality.
