through email at office@iccp.org to request this service. Retired (No longer maintaining currency, or planning retirement?), Unemployed or Underemployed? If you have retired or are planning for retirement or if you are no longer maintaining currency in the field, please note that you are able to continue to hold your certification on a "retired" status. You have to request a change in the recertification procedure (and its requirements). For those of you who are facing financial difficulties through unemployment or underemployment, the ICCP Office is able to work out a lower cost of recertification for you until you regain full-time employment. If you are interested in helping the ICCP and the Education Foundation establish a continuing education or extension course (with the computing or Information systems faculty, business department faculty or the faculty of extension) covering the subject matter necessary to study for the Core examination, please download the above package and contact the office@iccp.org and let us know which college/university you are working with. Each member of the ICCP-Governance list has agreed to contact at least two colleges and universities in 2003 to forge a strong relationship between education and the ICCP. We hope every holder will take it upon themselves to help us create this linkage, which enhances the image and visibility of the CCP in your local area. Our biggest criticism, by potential exam takers, is that there are insufficient study materials or courses available to the market for preparing to take our examinations. In this area we are working on providing an online course as well as these university programs: supported by textbooks, study notes, trial examinations and our complete guide to professional computing.
