The Institute for Certification of Computing Professionals
(ICCP) is located in Des Plaines (a suburb of Chicago), Illinois,
USA. It is the world's leading certification body for information
and communications technology (ICT) professionals.
There is no doubt Certification is the way to
the top of the computing profession. And the prestigious CCP
designation...Certified Computing Professional...from
ICCP, is recognized worldwide by employers, educational institutes
and peers as validation of its holders' computing knowledge
and experience.
The CCP is the standard which others covet.
That's because ICCP, the Institute for Certification
of Computing Professionals, is acknowledged throughout the information
and communications technology sectors as the most authoritative
source of professional certification. Our CCP examinations demand
a high degree of professional competence from those who pass;
consequently, the designation is powerful
evidence of the high level of attainment of a true Certified
Computing Professional.
In tough economic times, certification adds to
your professional credibility and gives you an advantage in
the competitive job market. The recognition and personal stature
that comes with the CCP designation makes ICCP the industry’s
leading professional certification organization.
If you are one of the 55,000 current certificate
holders, congratulations on achieving
this Mark of Distinction that sets you apart as a true ICT professional.
For new entrants into the field of computing the
Associate Computing Professional (ACP) designation is the most
appropriate qualification and you can achieve it with a 50%
or more pass mark on the professional examinations.
Many universities and colleges use the ICCP examinations
to test their students' exiting knowledge and competency as
validation of their curriculum, faculty and educational processes.
This data is especially useful when colleges and Universities
seek to retain their status as accredited educational institutes
of the various government and national professional bodies.
If you have not yet gained the designation of
Certified Computing Professional(CCP) or Associate Computing
Professional(ACP), then this is the place to find out how to
qualify and why it is of value for you to do so.
