Obtaining a Professional-Level Expert Proficiency
Certificate is suitable for candidates who are primarily interested
in demonstrating competency in a specific area and for use in
career planning. It is also a valuable tool for companies and
organizations striving to set a higher standard for internal and
external performance assessment, establishing hiring criteria,
and improved market positioning.
Today, more and more companies are looking
for employees or consultants who can demonstrate command of a
particular body of knowledge. The Professional-Level Expert Proficiency
Certificate is an effective method of determining competency in
specific areas.
Candidates may sit for one or more proficiencies
that may also be credited toward the ICCP designations. Professional-Level
standing qualifies that proficiency towards the CCP designation.
Upon successful completion of the exams, each
candidate will receive a Proficiency Certificate as evidence of
his or her achievement. The Expert Proficiency Certificate is
awarded to computing professionals who have scored 70% (or higher)
on any Specialty or Program Language exam excluding the Core exam.
