2 Year University Programs Using the ACM-IEEE, AIS Model Curricula Standards for Learning Outcomes Assessment.
A nationally standardized exam gives outcomes (in the form of 4 reports) to evaluate your students, curriculum, and effectiveness of your programs. Is your 2 year associate degree accredited? What is your accreditation cycle? How long before you have to spend at least one or two months of hard work preparing for the accrediting agency's visit?
Performance standards
Students who score 50% or higher on the exams qualify for the Associate Information Systems Analyst (AISA) or Computer Science Associate (CSA) or Associate Computing Professional or Associate IT Professional (AITP) certificate. Students who score 70% of higher on specific CS/IS/IT exams qualify for the Information Systems Analyst (ISA), Certified Computing Professional (CCP) or Certified IT Professional (CITP). A small fee is payable to join as members of ICCP, to receive their certificate, they also become enrolled in maintaining skills currency (20 hours/year continuing professional education requirement) and have to sign the ICCP code of ethics. |
